FAQ

What are the differences between a user license and other licenses?

There are three kind of licenses for shareware edition of DiskCatalogMaker.

  • User License
The User License allows you to install and use one copy of the software on one (primary) computer.
This license also allows you to install and use a second copy of the software for your exclusive use on either a portable computer or a computer located at your home. (The software on the portable or home computer can not be used at the same time as the software on the primary computer.)

  • Family License
The Family License allows you to install and use one copy of the software on up to a maximum of five (5) computers at a time as long as those computers are located in the same household and used by persons who occupy that household. By “household” we mean a person or persons who share the same housing unit such as a home, apartment, mobile home, or condominium, including student members who are primary residents of that household but reside at a separate on-campus location. This license does not extend to business or commercial users.

  • World-wide Site License
The World-wide Site License allows you to install and use the software on unlimited number of computers in your company or organization.

These licenses are for shareware edition of DiskCatalogMaker. If you would like to know about the licenses for MacAppStore edition of DiskCatalogMaker, please read "Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions."
